D.L. Bliss, Donner Memorial, Emerald Bay, Sugar Pine Point and Tahoe SRA are OPEN during the winter for hiking and snowshoeing, but these parks are CLOSED to camping beginning mid-September (varies by park). Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in. Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP). This park is site specific; you will select your site at the time you make your reservation. WARNING: Metal bear resistant food lockers are provided in each campsite. All food, beverages, and toiletries are required by law to be stored in provided food lockers. The inside dimensions of the food lockers are 36" deep, 43" wide, and 22" high. Violators will be cited. Camp at your own risk! By choosing to enter or camp at Donner Memorial SP you assume the risk of personal injury or property damaged caused by bears. Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Although your site may hold 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only covers 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites). This park is above 6,200-ft elevation. Campsite availability is subject to unpredictable and adverse weather conditions including snow closures, which may result in cancelled reservations.
